Colimage RVC performs automatic circular rubbing fastness test for textile products in accordance with ISO 105-X16 (AATCC TM116-2018e and GB/T 29865-2013) standard.

This test method is used to determine the amount of color transferred from the surface of colored textile materials by rubbing other surfaces. This standard can be used to test dyed or printed textiles and especially smaller colored areas that cannot be tested with a standard rubbing fastness device.

Colimage RVC provides testing opportunity in desired small areas thanks to its 16mm diameter and vertical rotation. According to ISO 105-X16 (AATC TM116-2018e) standard, it performs rubbing by applying a force of 11.1N on the fabric.

It performs a total of 40 rubbings by applying 20 double rotations (both clockwise and counterclockwise) specified by this standard. The number of rotations can be changed in desired cases.

Both dry and wet fastness tests can be easily applied with Colimage RVC.
